We're thoroughly delighted with our new custom home built by Rainbow Building Solutions.
Thanks to the Rainbow team and particularly Paul Quilliam, their on board design consultant, our home has all of the country cottage character we dreamed about for our rural block.
Paul's valuable creative advice has resulted in a charming home with a number of useful and aesthetically pleasing lifestyle features which we ourselves hadn't initially considered.
As a result, our home is such a pleasure to live in and we'll be enjoying it for many years to come.

Rainbow Building Solutions was my choice to build my home because in the first instance I found them to be welcoming, professional and sensitive to my needs, and the most impressive of the companies I researched. We engaged Rainbow Builders to build our new home as their range of house designs and inclusions appealed to our taste and we wanted to build with a local builder.
At the time we lived in Queensland and literally drove from the airport to their Sorell office where we walked in on Paul Quilliam and discussed with him our ideas and a draft plan we had roughed up from their range of designs on their website. Within a few days we had a draft plan and an idea of costs. Shortly after our return we had a contract and specifications.
We liaised with Paul throughout the building process and were able to monitor the process via their on-line portal which provided progress photos, a range of hardware items from which we had to make choices such door handles, taps, floor coverings, colours, etc. The site was easy to navigate and provided links to manufacturers to view their product range. We were able to keep in contact with a question/answer and message board to address any queries we had. The only off site visit we required was to the Hobart Kitchen Centre to select colours and materials.
The building progressed on time and to schedule, we were able to arrange for onsite inspections and always found the tradespeople to be pleasant and polite. At times they suggested things we had not thought of which helped make the final result even better.
On taking possession the site was spotless.
We have now been in our house nearly 3 months and the standard of finish is superb. Nearly every day we tell each other how lucky we are to be living in such a beautiful and unique house. Friends and relatives who have visited have been impressed by the design, construction and detailed finish.
We are extremely grateful to all the folk from Rainbow Builders and their contractors for the work they have put into our home and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to anyone contemplating building.
